Drive from the Airport to Bamboo

Driving time will take about 20 minutes from the airport but maybe longer during rush hour.

If you use your GPS map app on your phone the address is 2425 Kuhio Ave.

Driving Directions:

Exit the airport and turn RIGHT on Nimitz Highway (east). This is underneath the freeway. Drive on the Right lane.

Nimitz Hwy will change into Ala Moana Blvd when you reach the downtown area, about 5 miles.

Continue along Ala Moana Blvd for about 2 miles, on the left will be Ala Moana shopping center the largest outdoor shopping center in the in the world and on the right will be a very large beach park called Ala Moana park.

At the end of the park on the left will be 2 tall condo towers, this is the main entrance into Waikiki. Drive across the small bridge and continue on Ala Moana Blvd for less than 1 mile until you reach Kalakaua Ave and then all cars will need to turn right.

Turn Right on Kalakaua Ave and drive straight. We recommend you drive in the middle lane and drive down Kalakaua Ave the main street through Waikiki. Depending on the time of day it maybe busy.

Kalakaua Ave

Drive down Kalakaua Ave in the middle lane for about 1 mile. On the left will be 2 tall octagonal towers, turn LEFT here on Kaiulani Ave.

Turn
LEFT at Urban Outfitters on Kaiulani Ave.

Drive up Kaiulani for two short blocks and then angle (45 degrees) to the RIGHT.

Below is the short street you are turning on to. Then drive to the Stop light and turn
RIGHT on Kuhio Ave.

This is the picture right after your turn. The Bamboo Hotel is on the Right side only about 100 feet after your turn so drive slowly. It is the yellow building right after the Speed Limit sign is.

Turn into the driveway and pull toward the front. If the driveway is full please wait or try parking on the right side of the Pacific Monach driveway (not in their guest loading stalls). Or you can drive a little more to the corner and turn right to circle the block.
